I have to acknowledge that Tiffany and Teddy came over last night! I haven’t seen Tiffany in what feels like 100 years, and I had not seen Teddy since I made him my craigslist bodygaurd. They said they wanted to visit me, but I know they just wanted to meet the queen B. I will get pictures of her up soon.
Reasons why I love Tiffany:
- She is funny and offensive and lets me be the same way
- She wears the pants in her relationship (sorry Teddy but it is totally true)
- She eats yogurt, sushi, and OJ for dinner
- She indulges my cat obsessions
- She doesn’t care that 9 times out of 10 my place looks like a bomb went off
- She loves reality TV just as much as I do (or at least pretends to when she is over)
We watched the Real Housewives of New York Reunion show and holy cow those bitches are crazy! Who says money buys happiness? Well… that’s not true…. they are happy… but a little bat shit… especially that Kelly girl. In my opinion, Jill is the only one that has it together!
They headed out after the show with the promise that they will come over and watch part 2 on Thursday.
The funny thing is… LJP thinks we will be packing…. Just kidding… I am going to pack a little bit….
Back to the awkward:
I went to Kroger this morning and picked up some raspberries.
I sat down at my desk and ate one. I swear to you… there has never been a more perfect package of raspberries in the history of raspberry packages. They were so good, I made everyone try one.
and then…
i knocked the whole package on the floor…
FML – seriously… Hello Wednesday! Where have you been?

This is such a big week for E and me! We have had push backs and time changes but we are moving forward. I am so happy that I have found the man of my dreams, my dream house that will soon become a home and he doesn’t mind that I am weird, awkward and all over the place.
Our walk through has been moved from today… to Friday morning at some time. The Closing has been moved from 8 AM to 3 PM (probably not the wost thing ever… neither E nor I am very good at mornings before 8:30!)
Side note about love: One of my favorite couples ever (Babs and Pimp Paul) Just got ENGAGED! Her ring is FANTASTIC! Paul did a great job picking it out and surprising her with a super romantic set up. I could not be more happy for them. AND they bought a house too. I am so excited that my friends are making me feel more normal in my impulsive home purchasing and jumping on the wagon! My heart goes out to her because she has many months ahead of decorating, renovation, yard work and wedding planning! The most flattering thing is she has asked me to be a part of her big day! I am so honored that she has included me, and I can’t wait! She is such a beautiful, amazing, strong, smart, creative (the list goes on and on) woman, and I am so lucky to have her as a friend!
Em and Sean have started looking at houses as well. I feel their pain. Although our process for finding the house was easy for us. The process that follows is never easy. I don’t doubt they will find the perfect home for them. Just know that you know when you find the house when you feel like you already live there in your head!
Hopefully after Friday, my blog will have a better direction when I take it from being super random to more of a home decorating, renovation project before and after. No worries… It will probably still be random and awkward!
We have a HUGE project coming up on Friday, so stay tuned!
Today was a BIG day for us!
1st: We found out we are FINALLY out of underwriting and clear for the load
2nd: We scheduled our final walk through for next Wednesday and the closing for 8 AM (yikes) Friday, May 15th.
3rd: We finally found our inspiration piece for Morgan’s room.
Morgan had mentioned she wanted something with horses and maybe cowgirl. Cowgirl is very difficult because it is either too masculine… or too baby. And then we found this:

This sign is PERFECT for Morgan’s room! I can’t wait to put all the pieces together!

It’s hard to believe that we are less than 2 weeks away from closing on our first house! I cannot wait to put all my focus on making the house a home and all the design that that entails!
Here are a few preview pictures. More to follow at the walk through, which should happen next week!

I just love the way it looks!
I can’t wait to start the adventure of home ownership!
I stumbled across these BEAUTIFUL paper Mache birds from VivaTerra and I LOVE THEM!

Super J... our last good day
He put up a good fight and tried very hard, but he lost his fight yesterday at 5:30 PM. He will be missed disparately by his brother and everyone who ever interacted with him. He was a good sweet boy.
Shop It To Me will be the death of me! Not that I have bought anything, but simply the temptation delivered to my inbox once a week is enough!
Today I discovered this BEAUTIFUL Kate Spade bag on sale at Bloomingales!

*Sigh* maybe one day!
I brought Jackson home on Friday, but one thing I have learned through this whole thing is that the Emergency Vet is a complete racket!
Don’t get me wrong…. I am so glad to have my little fat man home safe but the money they charge there is out of control.
Fat Man was apparently the bell of the ball at the VEC in Carytown. All the ladies loved him, and looked for an excuse to snuggle with him. He was agreeable and social, and everything you would hope to have!
That being said, he is now the million dollar kitty (not literally) but suffice it to say, these weekly vet visits will start to add up!

The Afternoon Jack got home form the hospital

Needless to say, Stuart Has missed him very much and is glad to have him home!

This has been a pretty stressful week! Between work and Jackson’s sudden illness, I had to take a moment to fantasy shop, and I found this:
